Migration Exploration: Ospreys and Alewives

Many species of birds and thousands of alewives may be seen on the Harrison Ave Trail in Gardiner, Maine. Come explore as Maine Master Naturalists, Augusta Bird Club members and Upstream highlight the beauty and multitude of species that thrive on our gem of a stream. This is a gentle downhill trail along Cobbossee Stream about one-third mile and returning along the same route. Accessibility:

There is easy parking in the lot near the bridge over Cobbossee Stream at the junction of Rt 126 and Harrison Ave. It is accessed by car or bike. This walk is not wheelchair accessible.
