Maine Preservation works to promote and preserve historic places, buildings, downtowns and neighborhoods, strengthening the cultural and economic vitality of Maine communities.

Sponsorship contributes to the technical assistance we provide to property owners across the state, as well as our ardent advocacy for sound preservation policies on the state and federal level.

We hope you will join us in the opportunity to support historic preservation in Maine through 2025 Sponsorship opportunities for all three of our annual events with one donation.

Benefits will provide recognition at our three annual events. These programs are:

Honor Awards, March 25: Our annual awards celebrate the transformative rehabilitation of historic buildings and the people that make those projects possible.

Old Building Forum, February, May Annual Meeting, August, November (Virtual): We are excited to announce that what was formerly the annual Old House Forum will now be the Old Building Forum, a quarterly program allowing members, supporters, and organizations to engage with preservation experts on current issues in the field.

Annual Gala, September: This evening of friends, supporters, and partners will feature live music, plentiful food and drink, excellent company, and great fun! Our events are promoted through e-blasts to our base of more than 4,000 subscribers, garnering an open rate far above industry standards at 40%. We also share these events on social media platforms. In the past 6 months alone, our engagement reached approximately 257,000 combined users with 10,700 followers. Zooming out to the full year, we're on track to reach over a half-million users on Meta social channels, an increase of approximately 100,000 over the past year. In 2024, our website has had more than 42,000 visits. Printed invitations were sent to more than 2,000 donors across the state.
