Join Michael Hall, former Executive Director of the Augusta Downtown Alliance, for a walk down Water Street that will highlight downtown Augusta’s 19thcentury commercial architecture.
Next, Cathy Milojević-Kaey, Executive Director of The Colonial Theater will lead a tour around the theater to share the history, restoration efforts, and vision. Built in 1913 and rebuilt after a fire in 1926, it is a fine example of Beaux Arts architecture, with features presaging the Art Deco movement.
